Each restaurant, museum, attraction, etc., is given a star rating from 1-6, in accordance with a plethora of factors.

For museums, these include the...:

  • Interactivity of the museum
  • Organisation of the museum
  • Professionalism of the staff
  • Quality, quantity, & coherence of the information

For restaurants, the...:

  • Quality of the dining experience
  • Professionalism & hospitality of the staff
  • Range of food & drink options
  • Cleanliness of the establishment
  • Catering for those with allergies & dietary requirements

For hotels, the...:

  • Ease & speed of check-in
  • Comfort of the rooms
  • Standard & availability of the amenities
  • Location of the property
  • Overall enjoyment of the stay

Each star rating can be seen to have the following adages:

  • 6* = Outstanding
  • 5.5 = Excellent
  • 5 = Very good
  • 4.5 = Good
  • 4 = Mediocre
  • 3.5 = Sub-par
  • 3 = Bad
  • 2.5 = Poor
  • 2 = Very poor
  • 1.5 = Abysmal
  • 1 = Utterly atrocious in every conceivable way
